While going through some older photographs lately I have found this image taken four years ago during my visit in Hong Kong. I remember after arriving I was fascinated with those colorful trolley buses driving around the city. After coming back home I forgot about them. Looking at it today I was surprised how the colors on the bus match the colors of the surroundings buildings. I think it is worth to show it today. I used Topaz Adjust to achieve slight painterly look.

This is the first time I am choosing the best images of the year and I have to say it is not an easy task. Not because I think they are all so good but I really like a lot of them and it is quite difficult to narrow the choice just to ten. But I have managed and here it goes.
It looks like it was a year of trying different ways of expression and I think I have learnt a lot.
The National Palace of Montjuic houses National Art Museum of Catalonia abbreviated as MNAC Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya. The National Palace of Montjuïc was constructed among 1926 and 1929 for the International Exhibition of Barcelona of 1929. The building was built under the supervision of Pere Domènech i Roura inspired in the spanish Renaissance. Several artist were involved in the decoration of the Palace which is kept more in art nouveau style. It is perfectly placed on the Montjuic hill closed to Placa de Espana and the museum inside opened in 1995 houses great collections of art from different epochs from Romanesque to Modern Art.
