Palace of Culture was from the beginning a controversial building. It is a gift from Soviet Union to Polish people and therefore for many Poles considered as a symbol of Soviet domination. Today it is a part of history and a part of Warsaw architectural landscape and serves as an exhibition center and office complex. After the four clock faces were added to the top of the building in 2000 it is the second tallest clock tower in the world.
The Hard Rock Cafe Warsaw it is quite new addition to the Warsaw scene. Established in 2007 is one of the largest places in the city with Hard Rock merchandise and collectibles and restaurant serving American food and cocktails.
So, there is something for different tastes in Warsaw and the city itself is worth to visit.
